As a 35 year industry veteran and current President of Diamond Residential Mortgage Corporation (DRMC), my ultimate goal is building a best-in-class organization focused on “You,” whether “You” are a client, business partner, investor, or team member. I began on the street as a loan officer in the early 80’s and rose to the ranks of executive management with major national mortgage players. Over the years, I have witnessed the real estate and mortgage lending industry change. The mortgage industry has moved away from recognizing the importance of great service and long-term market relationships. Many in the industry seem to forget that when the customer comes first, everything else will fall into place.

Carl Macuiba
Over the past 25 years, I have learned the mortgage industry from the ground up. After beginning my career as an accountant, I joined Paul Diamond in the mortgage industry at Lumbermen’s Investment Corporation in 1986. In 1989, I assisted in the development of Centex Corporation’s “CTX Mortgage Company,” where I served as a Top Loan Officer, Sales Manager and later as Division Vice President. While serving as Division Vice President of CTX Mortgage Company, I ran the most profitable division in Illinois. In 2004 I became the Regional Vice President of the State of Illinois for the Midwest District for First Magnus Financial Corporation, and in 2007 I joined forces with Flagstar Bank. I served as the District Manager of the Illinois Group until 2009, and I assisted in the development of Diamond Residential Mortgage Corporation, where I am the currently Chief Financial Officer. I am a very detailed and accomplished mortgage professional that truly understands all the inter-workings of the mortgage business.
I currently reside in Gurnee, IL with my wife Tracy and our four children. We all are very active within our community. I enjoy competing in Triathlons and have participated in the Hawaiian Ironman World Championships six times.
Richard Smith
I have over 40 years of experience in the Retail Mortgage Business to include experience in underwriting, capital markets, product development, production management and even personal production. I have owned 2 companies and have run production for 4 others, including CTX Mortgage, GMAC Mortgage, American Home Funding, Shea Financial and BOK Financial.
The defining point in any successful service-based organization is the internal value that is placed on its most important asset- its employees. Creation of a valued financial asset is the work of numerous skills and people within the mortgage process. Sales, Underwriting, IT, Processing, Loan Delivery, Secondary marketing, Finance and accounting, Audit, Quality control and many other disciplines must work in unity to create a sustainable, profitable company. Keith Eberhardt
I became a Loan Officer in 1986 for Waterfield Mortgage Corporation after working as a real estate broker for seven years. In my first year, I closed 12 million dollars in loans – which was not an easy task, considering the average loan amount was $40,000 back then. Through many different bank mergers, I was able to maintain my status of #1 Loan Officer for 12 consecutive years.
In 1999 I was hired as Division Vice President with CTX Mortgage in Indiana. I was able to take a troubled branch operation and turn it into a successful network that produced over a billion dollars a year in loans. After working with CTX Mortgage, I joined Flagstar Bank as the Regional Vice President and State District Manger of Indiana. In 2009, I assisted in the development of Diamond Residential Mortgage Corporation, and I currently serve as Executive Vice President and oversee all Indiana divisions of DRMC.
I have a strong knowledge of the mortgage industry and a determined work ethic. In Indiana, our divisions have a very loyal and hard-working staff that stayed together through various mergers and company changes. We look forward to assisting our customers with their mortgage needs.
Ryan Eberhardt
Since completing his bachelor’s degree at Valparaiso University in 2003 and his mortgage education from Xinnix (one of the toughest mortgage training programs in the industry), Ryan has helped thousands of people achieve their goals of homeownership. Ryan has been nationally recognized as one of the top producing loan officers throughout the country year after year. He was ranked as one of the top Rookie Originators in 2004, as reported in Mortgage Originator Magazine (MOM), one of the top FHA/VA Originators in the nation in 2005 by MOM Magazine, and he has averaged $40 million in volume per year during his originating career. Ryan is highly respected by his fellow employees, and he was elected to the DRMC board by his peers. His originator’s perspective has proven to be a valuable asset for the board.
During his tenure at Valparaiso University, Ryan was an outstanding baseball player. Ryan is a highly passionate individual, and he still plays baseball and golf to this very day. Ryan currently makes his home in Northwest Indiana with his wife Magan and their two daughters Maya and Gabriella.
Larry Longcore
After graduating from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 2001, I began my career with Flagstar Bank in their executive management program and quickly ascended to Vice President of residential lending managing Flagstar’s largest region of home loan centers. After successfully building the region to over 1 billion in annual mortgage production, I went on to establish a network of wholesale and correspondent partnerships with small and large lenders alike, gaining valuable insight into warehouse, correspondent, and broker lending and received Flagstar’s Presidential Award for mortgage lending in 2011. My 13 year career encompasses all aspects of mortgage lending, offering me a diverse perspective of the industry and an opportunity to learn from some of the brightest minds in lending. In 2014, I joined Diamond Residential Mortgage to align myself with a company that shares my belief that integrity, trust, and transparency are the hallmarks of success and superior customer service. We exist to serve the customer and hold ourselves to the highest standard in lending, striving for excellence each and every day.
Along with being an avid golfer and boater, I’m a die-hard University of Michigan football fan and volunteer youth basketball coach, who believes in always maintaining a positive attitude and surrounding myself with optimistic people, both personally and professionally.
Bill Maxwell
I have been in the mortgage business for over 29 years; most of that spent managing multiple branches and originating. My areas of expertise come from many years of experience with construction and renovation lending, jumbo and conventional purchases, and FHA/VA/USDA lending. I also offer refinance assistance for all of my past clients and their referrals.
My favorite part of my job is twofold: assisting my clients fulfil their dreams of homeownership and seeing my employees succeed in their own careers. Nothing makes me happier than helping those around me.
In my free time , what little of it there is, is split between my two favorite hobbies: golfing and restoring/collecting muscle cars and hot rods. Normally my wife would require some of that time, but since we work together on the same origination team every day, I think she appreciates my other hobbies.
Tammy Moore
Over the past 20+ years, I have served as a Mortgage Consultant, a Sales Manager, and a Senior Division President. This experience has given me an extensive knowledge of the entire lending process from both a lender’s and administrator’s perspective. In my current position as a Senior Division President I am back to doing what I love best: working directly with clients and servicing their lending needs.
As one of the nation’s top FHA and VA Mortgage Originators, I am dedicated to making sure my customers are educated homebuyers. I provide credit and budget counseling and credit repair advice. I also conduct homebuyer’s seminars throughout the year to make sure the community is informed on the constant changes in the mortgage industry and home buying process. I began my career in the mortgage industry with Lumberman’s Investment Corporation in 1986; right after graduation. While working my way through the ranks of the operations department, I gained experience in processing, closing, underwriting, FHA Insuring, VA loan guarantee and loan delivery. I have also spent time working with loan origination, compliance, and quality control. Through my years of experience in the mortgage industry, I have developed a tremendous knowledge of all aspects of lending, and my experience helps me develop and assist my fellow employees. In 2009, I assisted in the planning and creation of Diamond Residential Mortgage Corporation. I currently serve as the Vice President of Operations and continue to assist in underwriting, closing, funding, post-closing, and processing as well as providing support in the compliance and QC areas. I am a happily married mother of 4 wonderful children. In my free time I enjoy camping, cooking and just spending as much time as possible with my family and their many activities.
